Fifteen years after Citi Field opened, the Mets finally got their chance to celebrate a playoff-clinching win on their home turf. And they made the most of it. After beating the rival Phillies on Wednesday night to take the NLDS in four games, the Mets began the party Marco Gonzales Jersey in the clubhouse and even went back onto the field as they imbibed plenty of adult beverages while spraying the rest around.
