The Los Angeles Lakers have made two new additions to their team, signing forward Anton Watson and guard Nate Williams. To accommodate these moves, the Lakers have waived guard Tevian Jones and forward Eric Dixon.

Watson (6'8", 225 lbs) most recently played in nine games for the New York Knicks during the 2024-25 NBA season. The 24-year-old also spent time with the Maine Celtics of the NBA G League, where he played 37 games (34 starts) last season, averaging 12.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.0 steal in nearly 30 minutes per game. Originally drafted by the Boston Celtics with the 54th overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, Watson played five seasons at Gonzaga University (2019-24). In his final year, he earned All-WCC First Team honors, putting up 14.5 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.5 steals in 31.3 minutes per game.
